EDUN Clothing

EDUN is building long-term, sustainable growth opportunities by supporting manufacturers, community-based initiatives and partnering with African artists and artisans.  95% of EDUN’s collection is currently manufactured in Africa, with the label looking to foster long-term partnerships with vendors and investing in community building initiatives in the continent. If all that doesn’t sound good enough for you, check out their beautiful clothing...
Alongside their ethical fashion brand, Edun are running a brilliant project titled CCIU (Conservation Cotton Initiative Uganda). CCIU was established in 2009 in collaboration with Invisible Children, a non-profit organization that develops social programs principally in Northwest Uganda. CCIU provides funding, training and enterprise support to cotton farmers to help build sustainable businesses in Northern Uganda. CCIU now supports over 8,535 farmers in Northen Uganda.
Their website also has a wonderful photo journal that collates images from all across Africa. It really adds a personal touch to their fashion brand.
